Role overview

We seek a talented and passionate Videographer to join the Central Creative Team at Calvary Tabernacle. The CT Central Creative Team plays a pivotal role in shaping and conveying the identity of Calvary Tabernacle and its educational campuses: Indiana Bible College, Calvary Christian School, and Calvary Christian Childcare through innovative branding, design, marketing, and communication strategies.

As a Videographer, you will be responsible for capturing and producing compelling visual content that resonates with our various audiences, contributing to the overall success of our branding and communication initiatives. You will serve as an important leader in the organization, providing direction, education, and mentorship to the volunteer and student video teams at Calvary and its educational campuses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Video Production: Conceptualize, plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos that align with the organization's messaging and branding guidelines.

Content examples include, but are not limited to:

• Discipleship series

• Event marketing videos

• Video podcasts

• Long-form teaching videos

• Training videos

• Masterclass series

• IBC Online Learning videos
  

Storytelling: Craft engaging narratives through video content that effectively communicate the values, mission, and stories of Calvary Tabernacle and its educational campuses.

Collaboration: Work closely with the other members of the Creative Team to integrate video content seamlessly into various campaigns and communication channels.

Professionalism and Communication: Be able to communicate professionally with various leaders and stakeholders within the organization to plan and execute successful video projects.

Equipment Management: Maintain and operate video production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.

Research and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team.

Project Management: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high production standards.

Livestream Direction: Provide training, direction, and support to the livestream video teams at Calvary Tabernacle and Indiana Bible College. 

Training: Develop an intentional training culture by involving and mentoring volunteers and students in videography projects at the educational campuses.

Teaching: Be able to teach entry-level videography courses at Indiana Bible College and Calvary Christian School.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a videographer with a strong portfolio of video projects.

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).

• Proficiency in audio capturing, processing, and editing in a video production context.

• Knowledge of current video trends and storytelling techniques.

• Strong creative and visual storytelling skills.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements.

• Desire to serve in other areas of the church beyond baseline job requirements.

• Understanding of the values and culture of the Calvary Tabernacle organization.
