what will my first visit be like?

At Calvary, first time guests are very important to us. We never single guests out in an uncomfortable way but we do encourage all of our guests to make a stop at the Welcome Center upon arrival. When you arrive at the Welcome Center, you will be greeted by volunteers who will help orient you and answer any questions that you might have. You will also receive a small gift bag just to let you know how honored we are that you would choose to worship with us at Calvary!

what about my kids?

Calvary Tabernacle has absolutely amazing programs for kids and youth! On Sunday mornings there are nursery classes for kids ages 1-3 and a class for kids in PreK or Kindergarten. Kids in 1st through 5th grade gather in our Legacy Chapel for an exciting Kids Church experience that they are sure to love.

On Wednesday evenings, our kids go to classes, our junior high and high school students have youth service, and the adults worship in the Main Sanctuary.

These classes are safe, secure, and fun. When you check in at the Welcome Center volunteers will be ready to direct you to your kids' classrooms.

what about my child with special needs?

In addition to our nursery through high school classes, Calvary provides an ABLE Ministries class for children and youth who require special accommodations. The ABLE Ministries volunteers will work with you and your child to provide a safe, fun, and loving environment that meets their specific needs.

For children or adults with sensory sensitivity, there are also sensory friendly headsets available each service. These headsets reduce the overall noise of the room and wirelessly feed the house mix to the headsets where the volume can be adjusted to personal comfort level. These are always available next to the Welcome Center

what are the services like?

Services at Calvary Tabernacle are exciting, upbeat, and powerful! Services begin with a time of congregational worship and singing followed by a scripture-based message from our Senior Pastor, Joshua B. Carson.

what about tower coffee?

Tower Coffee is always open an hour before service. Tower serves incredible single origin, craft coffee as well as spritzers and Italian sodas.

In addition to the regular menu, on Sunday mornings before service we serve free drip coffee and donuts. This is an incredible time to relax and connect with other Calvary members in our Gathering Space.

what will parking be like?

Due to our downtown location, our parking consists of one main lot and several smaller lots around the perimeter of our campus. Our parking team does an incredible job directing attendees and helping them find a spot in a timely manner.

For the best parking experience pull into the main parking lot at the rear of the building. If you are a first time guest, turn on your flashers and the team will direct you to our Guest Parking spaces.

what kind of language services are offered?

We have designated seating for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing with a live ASL interpreter. Visit the Welcome Center and the volunteers will help you to your seat. ASL interpretation is available on Sundays during our 11:30am service.

*All month of December Sunday services are at 10:30am only. ASL interpretation will be available in that service.

If you require Spanish interpretation, simply visit the Welcome Center upon arrival. A Spanish speaking volunteer will be there to help. Si necesitas interpretación al Español, solo visita el Centro de Bienvenida al llegar. Uno de nuestros voluntarios de habla hispana estará ahí para ayudarte.
